StockIT Beginner's Guide: Your First 10 Minutes as a Broker

Welcome, broker. StockIT doesn't dump a textbook on you — it walks you through your first trades in about ten minutes. Here's what actually happens.

Step 1 — Open your office (fun). The game greets you with a simple fantasy: you opened your own brokerage office. The tutorial shows your home screen — holdings, stocks A/B/C with live charts, and the big GEN button. Touch-first, portrait, built for your phone.

Step 2 — Make your first smart trade (core gameplay). Tap a stock. Watch the chart. Ask: is this good, bad, or unclear? StockIT's opening lesson is the rule every broker remembers: Good news? Buy. Bad news? Sell. Not sure? Wait. Smart trading — not button-mashing — is the game.

Step 3 — Optional GEN events. When you want a special live event, press GEN to spend energy — maybe a dividend, maybe a rally, maybe chaos. GEN activates events; it does not replace buy/sell/wait judgment. React well and the game rewards you; miss and you learn (safely).

Step 4 — Watch your portfolio grow (educational). Coins rise as your picks work. Soon you'll unlock the road map — levels like 3-2 that gate new tools. At level 5-1 comes the risk-reward bar; at 6-1, the diversification bar. The game teaches on a schedule so you're never overwhelmed.

Step 5 — Plan the next run. Check daily gifts, peek at tournaments, upgrade storage if you have gems. Sessions are short by design — perfect for a commute. When you close the app, progress waits for you. No FOMO, just a friendly "come back when you want another round."
