The five live market events (GEN)

When you tap GEN, StockIT can surface five live event types — same copy as the in-game tutorial (play money only, not financial advice):

• Dividend — Own the stock first, then collect the payout. Bigger holdings mean bigger coin rewards.
• Investor Offer — Search another player's room for hidden coins. Tap targets quickly to reveal rewards.
• Market Rally — Prices jump up fast. Buy or hold winners before the rally ends.
• Market Panic — Prices drop fast. Buy only if you want a cheaper entry and can wait for recovery.
• Flash Sale — Get a short discount window on stock buys. Spend energy only when the cheaper price helps your current goal.

How live market events work

Rotating seasons and banners change bonuses, but the core teaching events are always the five GEN macros: Market Panic, Market Rally, Dividend, Flash Sale, and Investor Offer.

What to do when an event appears:

• Read the banner and timer on your office home screen first — do not spend all energy before you understand the challenge.
• Panic: decide whether a cheaper entry fits your plan, or wait; panic discipline is a Market Master skill.
• Rally: decide whether to ride winners or take play-money profits before the spike ends.
• Dividend: confirm you already own the stock if you want the payout.
• Flash Sale: spend energy only when the discount helps a goal you already have.
• Investor Offer: treat it as a timed search challenge for coins, not real investing.

Season reward tracks

Each season has free and premium tracks. Progress by playing daily and finishing event milestones. VIP Pass holders unlock the premium track for extra gems, energy, and cosmetics when the catalog says so — we do not invent grants here.
