Download and install StockIT
StockIT is free on the App Store and Google Play. Search for "StockIT: The Broker's Challenge" or use the store links on our homepage. After install, allow notifications if you want event reminders — you can change this anytime in Settings.

Your first ten minutes (trade → events → office)
1) Download StockIT free via stockitgame.com/dl/. 2) Practice Buy, Sell, or Wait on play-money stocks (not real cash) — smart trading is the core loop. 3) Optionally tap GEN to spend energy and activate special live market events. 4) Glance at diversification and risk/reward bars. 5) Return to your broker office and notice progression. StockIT is mobile-only — there is no browser demo.

Make your first trade
Open the market from your office, pick a stock, and tap Buy or Sell. Start small — StockIT is a game for practice, not real money. Use the detective feed to spot rallies and panics before you commit.

Find your Player ID
Your Player ID appears in Settings under Account. You need it for web rewards, promo codes, and gift claims. Never share your password — only the Player ID is required for official web pages.

Is StockIT real trading?
No. StockIT is a mobile game with play money only — not a brokerage. Optional in-app purchases buy game items. See /blog/is-stockit-real-trading/ for the full answer.
